Indians at the forefront »

Indian Americans are playing a vital role in maintaining American leadership in the global Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Instrumentation, and related industries. Indians in the U.S. today, lead research and innovation in many cutting-edge technologies. Indian Americans have played a prominent role in academia and have been a major driving force for research and innovation at many reputed American universities. This is clearly evident from the large numbers of Indian professors, the numbers of patents assigned, papers published, Masters & Doctoral program enrollments, and PhDs awarded to individuals of Asian Indian origin each year.

A growing presence of Indians in industry at all levels of research, product development, and management is forging new alliances between the US and Indian Pharma/Bio industries. As we see more of this happening in the coming years with an increasing number of Indian companies effectively tapping into the US markets and vice versa, EPPIC and its membership will have a significant role to play...
