Dr. Ravi Srinivasan is a seasoned healthcare executive, serial entrepreneur and scientist. He is the Cofounder and CEO of OncoNano Medicine, a clinical stage company developing therapeutic and imaging products targeting pH disorders in diseases such as cancer. He has previously founded StemPar Sciences, an oncology company, and StrataGent Life Sciences, a dermatology company. Ravi is an inventor in over 50 patents and has developed award winning products such as the Microjet “patch-pump” for delivering injectables like insulin painlessly through the skin (Edison award 2010). He has also served in senior executive, product development and manufacturing roles in silicon valley healthcare companies including SEA Medical, Corium, and ForSight V5. Dr. Srinivasan received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.Tech. from IIT Mumbai.

Dr. Ashutosh Shastry is the Chief Technology Officer at Evanostics – a medical diagnostics company focused on developing products that re-imagine drug testing and helping resolve the raging opioid crisis in the US. Dr. Shastry has over 15 years of experience developing biosensors and multidisciplinary teams, medical devices and platforms for drug delivery and diagnostics. Utilizing his deep experience with microsystems engineering, Dr. Shastry currently leads the product and technology development for the Evanostics point-of-care detection system. Prior to joining Evanostics, Dr. Shastry served as Vice President R&D at iNDx LifeCare, and as the Director of Engineering at Corium International, Inc. At Corium, he led the technology development and scalable pilot scale manufacturing of a dissolvable microneedles patch that is past Phase IIa. He also led the development of a next generation infusion pump which received an Edison Award in the category of “Science & Medical Device Game Changers.” Earlier, at the University of Washington, Dr. Shastry initiated research on super-hydrophobic surfaces for droplet microfluidics. Dr. Shastry has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, and MS and BS degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai where he initiated BioMEMS research collaborating with Cancer Research Institute. He has authored numerous publications and has over fifteen patents. He serves on the Industrial Advisory Board for UCLA’s Bioengineering Department, is a member of the National Institute of Health Review Panel for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the National Science Foundation SBIR Review Panel for Biomedical Technologies and serves on the Editorial Board of Journal of Robotics and Mechanical Engineering Research.
