Ishita has twenty-one years of experience in the technology industry and has worked at large corporations and at startup. She is passionate about the application of technology in healthcare. Ishita has made angel investments in healthcare startups and is actively involved in several initiatives – a few of which are tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is currently working at TCG Digital, one of the portfolio companies of the Private Equity firm the TCG group, as the Vice President, Products & R&D and responsible for their advanced data analytics platform. Previously, Ishita was employed as Director of Product Management at Hedvig, which was recently acquired by Commvault. Her prior role was in technical sales at Qosmos, which was acquired by ENEA. Ishita has dabbled in entrepreneurship and has experience founding a startup to prevent collisions at airports using a short-range wireless technology. In her early career she worked in technical leadership roles at Cisco, Fabric7, Ericsson, and Brocade, focusing on embedded systems, on internals of Linux kernel, and networking technologies.
Ishita has an MBA from University of Chicago Booth, an MS in Computer Engineering from University of Southern California, and a B.Tech (Honors) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
