Robert joined EPPIC in 2017, where he served as VP of Program Management on the EC under prior President Ashutosh Shastry. His goal within EPPIC has been to set clear, aligned, and realistic goals then to execute efficiently through defined team structure. This will certainly be a focus as we move into his 2020-2021 term.
Robert works at Boston Scientific, a Fortune 500 multinational medical device company. He joined in 2013, where he has played key roles in the successful launch/commercialization of the Lotus Edge TAVR System and startup of the operations & distribution facility in Penang, Malaysia. In his current role as Director of SF Bay Area TAVR Operations, he directly manages end-to-end execution within engineering, production, supply chain and all business administrative functions.
Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Robert worked in protein manufacturing at Genentech and in transdermal drug delivery R&D at Corium. Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from University of California, San Diego and a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Cornell University. Outside of work he enjoys life with his wife, Laura, playing golf, and baking.
